I do love non-sweet-sauce pizza, though... :-) My two favorite pizza topping combos are mushrooms and hot peppers (strange sounding combo, I know, but totally yum :-), and black olives, feta cheese, and red onions! I definitely think they would be good with an increase in whole wheat flour and a decrease in white flour - I would like to try the same thing myself, actually. I grew up in the New Haven, CT area - home of true thin crust pizza - and I can't really eat it anywhere else. The one place here in the city that I like is the original Patsy's up on 117th street. They have an ancient oven and it makes the crust so tasty! <br /><br />Personally, I'm a purist, I like mozz and that's it.
