No I'm not actually listing them all out here... but it's a mini pamphlet cookbook that I found this weekend at my parents from 1923, it was my Nana's. How freaking cool is this!?!?
It was put out by the baking powder company... so you used more baking powder and less eggs, great way to save money on eggs I guess :) I also came home with a box of late 1940's bake and cookware :) LOVE!
mmm, interesting!
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for a list :)

love it! Can't wait to see all the 1940s stuff you saved. :)
ReplyDeletethat's so fun! I love finding things like that.
ReplyDeletehow time appropriate for what we're currently going through with the whole egg/salmonella thing.
ReplyDeleteI love old cookbooks...especially the ones that come from family.
So cool! I love vintage cookbooks and bakeware.
ReplyDeleteFascinating!
ReplyDeleteI imagine needing to save on eggs had more to do with war rationing than saving money. Many food items were rationed during WWII and few cakes were baked because of it.
