Now onto other fun things... like this adorable purse I made!
It was super simple and came together in two hours or less (I can't remember exactly when I started/finished) The pattern is free to download, you just have to sign up for a free account with the site. I changed the pattern slightly (made my top a little different). I LOVE this bag!!!
How do you like the inside contrasting pattern? I think it's wicked fun. There are two handy pockets in there as well, perfect so I can actually find my cell phone when it rings!Get the pattern and a ton more awesome patterns here.

Wow, Steph...that's great. I never have been able to learn to sew. It's a bit of a problem now because my daughter wants to learn and I can't teach her :-( at least I could teach her to crochet...she has been crocheting up a storm all summer!! Enjoy your adorable purse!!

That looks really good! I wish I could sew. After my cousin and I had fun cutting up our grandmother's clothes when we were really young and then trying to sew up the scraps together with our toy sewing machine, I haven't even thought about learning for real.
