OK I was going to attempt to write up an amazing post... but then I realized I took about 10 pictures the whole weekend! *fail* I made the conscious decision not to pack my big camera and brought our tiny old point and shoot instead... note to self... buy a new point and shoot. All of my inside shots came out full on grainy and not so hot at all... so here are the non food related walking around outside shots I took.

So anyway... back to my awesome weekend. There was so much to eat and see. I'm just going to tell you about my favorite parts.

Best thing at street cart fest: 4505 Meats jalapeno encrusted pork sandwich OMG amazing.
Best ice cream: Triple tie between: threetwins, straus organic and Josie with her natures pride winning entry for honey wheat ice cream YUM
Best thing at the tasting pavilion: Mushroom soup from Americano although those ghiridelli smores were a close second...
Best thing at the Gala Dinner: Getting to sit at the table with the exectuive chef and sous chef of the evening... everything was amazing, from the beet tart, to the perfectly cooked scallops with fried fennel fronds, to the fork tender lamb with the best mushrooms ever, to the almond cake with figs... great now I'm drooling... I can't put into words just how AMAZING that meal was.

The best part is always the people you meet though. It's like speed dating how quickly you meet people... in all reality they need to set it up like a speed date so I can meet more people!! Even with all the faces, I only have 100 cards... there were over 300 of you there, why didn't I meet all of you!?

Some awesome people from the weekend:
Lisa of Snack Girl- she's plotting to dress up as snack girl next year... I told her to go for it!
Ash and Lew from Ash and Lew Plus 2 what an amazing couple. The kindest friendliest people you will ever meet. Totally following their blog now, you should too!
Laura of The Cooking Photographer - another amazing lady. (her husband was a peach too!) Not only is she wicked talented with a camera, the lady can make honey! among so many other things... check her out here.
Stepfanie of Daily Spark - Come on we share a name... just a slightly different spelling :) She was amazing and total smiles the whole weekend!
Krissy and Daniel of The Food Addicts- another great couple! Here's a link to their write up, if you scroll you'll see a cute picture of me hanging with Mike of South Bay Foodies another fabulous guy!
Of course I had to hang out with the Duo Dishes while I was here. Love Chrystal and Amir! I've followed them for some time now and got to meet them last year!
Angela of SpinachTiger, was wonderful to have breakfast with on sunday and had some interesting stories from the weekend!
Ben from you fed a baby chili? was hilarious!
Gillian Young of Confessions of a young woman and Pauline of SassySavvyTravels had me rolling the entire gala dinner.
Emma of Food Samba was my exchange partner and gave me delicious homemade truffles!
Kashia of Fro and a Fork is the best person on twitter... love the sarcasm... her blog rocks too!
Joan of Foodalogue is feisty and an awesome lady!
Can't forget Damn the Freshman 15! She was my other exchange partner, I gave her a silicon baking mat/muffin pan set, and a rochester favorite, sponge candy!

OK I think I need to stop... otherwise I'm going to go on for days. If I missed you leave a message and I'll add you in! But for now... time for a snack :)

Good point by SpinachTiger... here's what I look like for those of you who have my business card but can't remember who I am! LOL
picture compliments of The Food Addicts and I'm sitting with the awesome Mike of South Bay Foodies

Aw....I miss ALL the bloggers I met at the festival. Honestly, I couldn't concentrate on my work at all after that because I kept staring at the pictures I took and my eyes misting up.

But it was certainly a fantastic, memorable event, one that I would be happy to relive!

I wish I could get in a time capsule and go back relive the weekend again...there were so many people I missed and though I was stuffed to the gizzards, there was so much food I missed too!!

Glad, however, we got to connect. Will tweet foodiacs today.

I love your clock tower picture and I wish I could see your face on this blog. You did a great post with what you had, and lucky you sitting at the right dinner table Saturday night. I had a great 8 days here, but that one little incident still plays in my head.

Honey Wheat Ice Cream?!?! I don't think I've ever heard those words in the same sentence before!
Sounds like you had fun, regardless of lack-of-pictures (that probably shows you were having too much fun to take pictures).

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who comes home from these event with like 10 pictures. Sometimes you're just too busy having fun to document it all, ya know?

Sounds like a blast and I'm sorry I missed it again. I really want some jalapeno encrusted pork now. Wow! And glad you got to meet Ben from Baby Chili ... isn't he the best?! :)
