Boot Rear

It's summer, that means its root beer float season.

Enjoy :D

You're probably wondering about the pun in the title... In middle school my friends and I used to read this book series that was far more mature then our little minds knew at the time (man the innuendos that went over my head!) anyway in the books they had this stuff called Boot Rear... tasted like, you guessed it, root beer. The twist was you'd get the sensation of a kick to the rear every time you took a sip... And now you all know I'm a gigantic dork... I just felt like sharing... anyone else ever read the Xanth series?

*crickets*

yeah that's what I figured :D

Ymm, love root beer floats. Full calories too, none of that diet root beer stuff!

There is a place near me that hand makes their own rootbeer and everyday is a different flavor!!

this looks great and refreshing

I love making floats, they're so much fun when it gets all sizzly.

lol. I've never read that series, but I absolutely love Boot Rear. I'll be using that in the future. How cute!

~churp, churp~

Nope, never heard of the series ... but I do love me some root beer floats. Outlier that I am, I like mine with chocolate ice cream!

Boot rear is cute :) Believe it or not I haven't had a root bear float until last year but now I love them!

boot rear is adorable :) I'm sure I could pull out some dorky book allegories for you as well... but first I need to get some root beer. because that picture is giving me serious cravings.

Ah! The title of this made me so happy! I LOVED the Xanth series... firewater, boot rear, butternut trees. My favorite pun was a centaur named Epi, whose magical talent was to create earthquakes. I actually started laughing outloud - on my bus during my freshman year of highschool Immediate nickname: geek. Sigh. Totally worth it.

Sadly, I'm lactose intolerant. Boot rear floats - not quite the same with soy ice cream.
