MORE pizza and a teaser

I'm waiting on the images I took with my dad's kick-butt camera... so the remainder of the DC trip write up will have to wait until then. In the mean time I give you some amazingly delicious pizza.

Tons of mushrooms, fresh parsley, mozzarella. You can find the quick and easy dough recipe here. And the no cook sauce here. This dough was from a batch I made a month or so ago and froze half of. I just took it out to thaw in the fridge the night before. Even after freezing and thawing the dough rolls out well... it does get a little more crisp though... so if you don't like thin crispy crust... don't freeze it... just make it fresh! Oh come on, it's not like it takes a long time :)

Oh right did I mention a teaser?

It's going down right here on FRIDAY of this week! So come on back and comment for your chance to win! Aren't prizes fun?? I sure think they are :)

That pizza looks delicious! I love the fresh parsley and the dough looks awesome. I checked out the dough recipe, and it looks great! I might have to try it the next time we make pizza. Yum!

Whole wheat pizza dough...yay! I think now that I've got a little bit of yeast experience under my belt I'm ready to try this.

I love the idea of being able to pull the dough out of the freezer. And I am a big fan of thin, crisp crust. Your pizza pic looks delicious!

I love a thin, crisp crust ... so the thawed dough sounds really good to me. And that pizza looks yummy! I must make a point to make both your dough and sauce ASAP, Steph!

And, yes, I'm excited about Friday! LOL

Frozen dough is the way to go. You can make it in big batches and always have it ready when the time is right. Looks good!

This looks delicious! I usually buy the pizza dough from a local Italian bread co and also freeze it. I hate making dough! Should invest in a bread machine...
