More cookies!!

That's right folks, we all want more cookies this time of year! This time I wanted to try an old favorite, oatmeal raisin, subbing in Smart Balance for the butter. The results.

Delicious! These had the perfect amount of chew and sweetness to them, no sugar tooth overload here! Next time I'm going to make them super sized instead of tablespoon sized. We can all have a coffee house style party? What do you think? Want to come?

Don't forget about the cookies contest either!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
recipe by steph chows

In a medium bowl whisk together and set aside:
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup old fashion oats
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

In a large bowl beat together until light and fluffy
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup Smart Balance

then beat in
1 tsp vanilla
1 large egg

Add your dry to your wet, and then fold in 1/2 to 3/4 cup plump raisins.

Drop tablespoonfuls onto a greased or lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes, remove and let cool on the pans for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack to completely cool.

What's your favorite go to cookie recipe?

Are you an oatmeal rasin kinda gal/guy? Or strictly chocolate chip?

If you could only eat one kind of cookie the rest of your life what would it be? Mine would hands down be marzipan rainbow layer cookies!!! YUMMM!

Oatmeal raisin are my go to. No recipe needed. Just throw everything in a bowl and mix.
But I'd have to pick chocolate gingerbread if I could only have one type of cookie for the rest of my life. They are SO good.

I'm in; I love giant cookies!! :-) I think if I could only eat one cookie it'd probably be the classic chocolate chip. Boring I know, but I love 'em!
